Introduction

Gansong Art Museum is the first private national museum by Gansong Jeon Hyeong-pil who tried to keep and research Korea’s representative relics that were devaluated and obliterated on purpose to rule the colony during the Japanese colonial era, as well as to acknowledge our cultural excellence and beauty to the future generations. It houses 12 national treasures, 10 treasures, and 4 Seoul’s tangible cultural assets. Visitors can meet the exhibition at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) through ‘Treasure of Gansong’ exhibition.
